Health Professions Loans are available to students enrolled in the College of Dentistry and the College of Pharmacy. Students will automatically be considered for the Health Professions Loan if they provide their parents' information on the Request For Information on HPL Eligibility form and show financial need, even if they are considered a self-supporting student. Funds are limited and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The form will be available within MyUI after students receive their financial aid offer in the Spring. The University of Iowa administers the Nursing Student Loan, and it is serviced by Heartland Educational Computer Systems, Inc (ECSI).
