The Student Job Fair takes place the first week of fall classes and the second week of spring classes. The fair offers an excellent opportunity for University employers to showcase their jobs and meet with interested students.
The following benefits await employers who attend the fair.
- An opportunity to meet with a large number of students. Last year more than 25 employers attended the job fair and approximately 1,200 students. Students who are uncertain if they have been awarded Work-Study can speak with staff at the Student Employment table. In past years it has been possible to make late Work-Study awards.
- An inexpensive method to showcase your jobs. The fair is free for employers. You are encouraged to bring numerous applications to the fair and use visuals depicting the job opportunities to attract students to your table.
- An opportunity to interview. Employers who wish to interview that day will be provided confidential space to meet with students.
Information regarding the Student Job Fair will be emailed to employers in the summer and late fall along with the link to the online registration form.
